Q: What software do you use?

A: I recommend QuickBooks, due to the accuracy, familiarity and ease of use compared to other accounting softwares. However, I am also FreshBooks certified and have worked in Xero as well. I am a QuickBooks partner, so if you don’t have an accounting software, or are interested in migrating to QuickBooks, I can offer you a discount for your first 3 months!

Q: What are your prices based on?

A: Prices are based on the amount of time I will be working on your books each month. The more accounts you have, the more work it is for me. I take in consideration number of accounts (bank and credit card), numbers of transactions in each account, special accounting transactions I need to record (fixed assets, prepaid expenses, loan breakdowns, etc) to calculate the monthly rate.

Q: How do I know my information is secure?

A: I use a secure client portal to share information, so your bank statements are not hanging out in my email or random drive somewhere. The portal is also where your monthly financial reports will be shared with you, so you can refer back to whatever you need to at any time! Let’s ditch the paper trail of documents. I know financial information is a sensitive topic, so I will never share what you share with me outside of our partnership. This is a safe space to get your business finances in order.
